Previously, the Quickjack BL-5000SLX was perfect for jacking up the C4...however, I didn't get one when I should've. Any clue with the new Quickjack designations, which Quickjack is the equivalent of the BL-5000SLX?
Thanks
I am interested also. I measured the jack point locations and it looks to be 36" (I was in a rush) The 5000TL looks to be the equivalent but with an extra 3" of lifting height.
I thought the same as well but wanted to double check on the forum. These things are too expensive to make a mistake on! If I can find out from other sources, I'll post!
I have a brand new BL-5000XLS still sealed in the boxes that I'm not going to use. I have decided to install a 2-post lift in my shop building.
Anyway, I'd like to sell the QuickJack. I'm in Central Illinois but am traveling to Houston next month and can meet up along the way if that works for anyone.
Trying to get through to someone but no luck. I did find this in regards to the differences on the website.
What's the difference between the NEW TL Models vs. SLX Models?
The biggest difference between the 7000TL and BL-7000SLX is the lifting height, which has increased 3 inches. This provides ample room to perform all the common vehicle maintenance tasks and allows you the capability to perform even the most complicated repairs.
Overall dimensions have remained the same, so you'll continue to benefit from what made QuickJack so popular in the automotive community and that is it's super-low 3.5" lowered height. The minimum lifting point spread did change from 31.5" to 37", but this will not make a difference to the vast majority of 7000TL users.
I was able to find a Quick Jack BL-5000XLS and was just delivered last night . Hoping to have it setup tonight and be able to start string it out. Lot of projects that I want to get started.
