I opened up the floppy end, inserted a stiff piece of cardboard, glued it in place, restitched the cover. Worked fine. BTW, there are some you tube videos on how to repair these.

I made, an old vertical blind I found someone thrown away.
I cut it the length I needed, and the light assembly lift it out enough to slide the vertical inside right to the end.
Then pressed the light assembly back in place and now the floppy end is spring loaded straight.
I fixed that, and it another ten years when I sold the car sun visors still looked great.
You can see nice and straight and the cost $000.00.

After 1st set was redone, I finally took mine out.. So much better..
But, If you can get them done in leather, with plastic on this inside, it would be nice.
I did my removable top in leather, instead of that cheap fabric GM used.
