Default Dumb question

87 plain Jane coupe i guess you call them 350 tuned port. Tune port is gone but motor is good I know nothing about these is it worth up grading the power not sure what mains or compression is on these I have a bunch of small blocks but like to use the original if I can but know nothing about vette insides I guess you can say what is your opinion???

If the TPI is gone and it were my car I would probably switch over to carburetor and new intake. The L98 engine is generally a 2 bolt mains.

You have a standard Gen I small block and can treat it accordingly.

thanks that is why I asked I want to put a tunnel ram on it with 2 390s just basically for looks I am not racing but I don't know what cam it has or should I upgrade to little more it runs I started it with a carb and fuel regulator didn't smoke but I may pull and do a ring job just cause

ok update i have 85 not 87 and my carbs appear to be 450s also thinking about running e85 at least some to boost know nothing about what is in these motors any help on specs
