Just finished putting new brakes & rotors all around my '92. The instructions on this site were a great help. Having that clamshell hood let's you get a good long breaker bar on those pesky caliper bolts- that was nice! Anyway, I only had 2 problems:
1) My car was one of the very few LT-1 '92's with the big front brakes. Yeah, just took a few days to return & replace the smaller rotors with the larger size.... and
2) I snapped 4 studs removing the front wheels. Has anyone else had this problem? Since I have owned the car, I have had the wheels on/off repeatedly, and never seen this before. Yes, I always use a torque wrench when tightening them, but can't guarantee the previous owner did. I'm wondering if this is common.
Since they are easy to remove, I plan to replace the remaining studs. The last thing I want to do is hang this puppy out at an autocross & lose a wheel.... that could get ugly!
On another topic, I just snapped a good new pic of my car by the lake on the way to work. Can anyone tell me how to add this to my signature? Sorry for the dumb question.

Go to the "My Profile" tab in the left column, then add it in the "My Signature" options.
