Alright everyone I am here to conquer the infamous Bose system on my '93 Coupe. When i first bought my vette i had no issues with the speaker system. Until recently I noticed the rear drivers side speaker has not been working. So, after a little research i bought a new speaker and amplifier. To my demise this did not fix the issue. The speaker was able though to play very very soft. My question is, what should i replace/ have fixed for the rear speaker to work?. I should also mention that the volts for the speaker were substantially higher than the other side. If i remember correctly, the one not working was at an astonishing 15 volts, and the working speaker was at something like .5 volts. (correct me if i'm wrong on that). I am stuck and don't know if the ECM is broken or if there is an issue in the speaker head unit. From what i have read a lot of people get rid of the Bose speaker system and install after market ones. I don't think i want to do that because i don't like the look of it. Until then i am not going to run the speakers in fear of something blowing from the high voltage. So with everything there I hope you guys have some words of wisdom to help me out.

I would swap out the speaker with the other side to see if it may be a bad new amp. If you get the same thing on the other side I would think you got a new one that is no good. It will help you eliminate the possibilities
