93 Fender Alignment Help
So I've had my 93 coupe for 3 years now, haven't had to do any body panel work until last night when I got a new battery. I didn't pay attention to what the gaps looked like BEFORE I took the driver's side fender panel off because I thought it was just a simple "take it off and put it back on" deal. However, the panel on the driver's side is now extremely tight in the lower rear corner by the door. It isn't getting caught but when compared to the passenger side the gap is way smaller. I tried 4 or 5 times to reposition it with no success; it seems like I have to way to move it forward on the car. I've tried searching for similar advice on google and on here but came up with nothing. Could anyone give me some advice with this?
FYI, the panel was cracked at the top 10mm bolt when I purchased the car. I've thought about just buying a new panel and seeing if it solved the issue but I'd prefer to just find a way to get this one to fit better. It may have been this tight the entire time, I just never paid attention to it. Thanks in advance!
Tight in the lower right corner against the door
Gap seems fine on this side....
