Default radiator removal

can anyone tell me the easiest way to remove the six lower screws on the fan shroud, and then the trick of getting them back in?

ps. a while back i was on here talking about a vats problem and got a lot of great advice on where the unit was. however, as it turned out it wasn't the vats system after all, it was the starter.

I've just finished doing this on my '94. I could reach the 3 on the passenger side without much difficulty using a 1/4 drive ratchet, socket and extension. The very top one I removed with a small box end wrench.

The 3 on the drivers side were a bit tougher. I removed the AIR pump assembly and used the box end wrench and a lot of patience. When I re-assembled the shroud, I pulled the clips off and turned them around so that they are now mounted on the frame pieces opposite the shroud. The screws are now mounted from inside the A/C condenser access - it made the re-assembly a little easier but it still took a bit of patience.

Good luck.
