Default Tire options

I was shopping for tires and happened across my new favorite tire brand! I don't know HOW I'll be able to resist buying some. (Except, maybe, that I didn't see any 315's). Oh well, their loss. So....how many of you "mid-year" C4 owners gonna put a set of these all around?

This about says it all, don't it!!! LOL

Well yeah. Just a matter of time. How can one not have "MuchoMacho" on a Corvette. Screw those mundane Michelins and Contis.
(Snowflake caution, stereotyping ahead: Sound like Mexican tires made in a Chinese factory in Malaysia)

So many stupid tire threads. Lets face it. C4 owners are way more concerned with aesthetics as opposed to driving characteristics.

Best all around C4 tire (which nobody even considers): Michelin Pilot Sport 4S in 265/40R17. Plenty of great tires in 255/40R17, but way too small for the C4 crowd.

255/45, 275/40, 285/40, 315/35 are all severely limited. The Conti ECS is a great all around tire (especially in the wet), but is still a bit behind the best in class. Too bad the Conti SportContact6 and SportContact7 tires are not available for lowly 17" wheels.

Sometimes I can't fault the old C&D story line: Big tires, big engine, big deal. Put those 315/35R17s on the front.

The 275/40R17s were never proven to be faster than the 255/50R16s. The 315s were just for show.

Aaahhh.... not on my c4. 20"? Maybe with a set of chrome fake exhaust vents on the hood, a galloping horse vinyl applique for my rear glass, set of naked lady mud flaps, and a set of bull ***** to hang off my license plate hardware. I could Plasticoat my rims black to compliment the tires.

I'm all factory set up on my 95 c4. I just picked up the last set of Nitto fronts in the USA according to Discount Tire. Over priced extreme tires are just not needed on the majority of c4's out there. Mine doesn't see rain or cold weather and is never driven beyond it's designed technicals.
