These wheels don't even fit correctly on a later C4 without spacers (see scorpio's post just above mine). You'll need more than 3/4" to get these correct on an 84. These C5 fronts are 8.5" wide with 58mm offset, whereas the stock 84 fronts where 8.5" with 32mm offset. Right away that tells you that you need 26mm to make up the difference. Call it 1" (25.4mm) spacers. The rear C5 wheels are 9.5" wide with 65mm offset, whereas early C4 9.5" wheels had 38mm offset. This is a 27mm difference, but again you can get away with 1" spacers to make them fit close enough.
Thanks for the quick replies. I put an offer on these so we'll see how it goes. I was looking at aftermarket but just didn't make sense to spend $1600+ to get something I like. At least this way I'll stay in-family.
I’m running a set on mine. I’m not usually a fan of using different generation wheels but these five spoke mags are an exception. I’m not running spacers on mine but I would recommend them for a more flush appearance.
If you don't get them and want to find some rims that fit without spacers, check out Factory Reproductions Custom Wheels and Rims - Down South Custom Wheels
I got some 9.5x18 40 backspace reproduction C06 Z06 rims for my 86 the other year through them. Put the right tires on them and they fit just like the oem tires/rims did, didn't even have to tweak the speedometer. I should say I only drive street and highway, they looked great when I put them on and still look great today.

I somewhat feel the same. I ordered new center caps that were blank and then sourced a C4 logo applique that was similar in dimension to the C5 logo and applied them myself. Turned out very nice and are so far holding up well three years on at this point.
Not to create a different beast in this thread but, I threw Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires on them. The car handles pretty damn good for a base stick vert.
