BF Goodrich G Force Comp 2

Yesterday, I replaced the 10.5 year old Comp 2 tires on my 1985 Corvette in Kalamazoo, MI. They were in good condition with only about 6000 miles. The tires were just getting older - no dry rot at all. You might try contacting May Automotive in Kalamazoo to see if they still have them. If you were able to get a tire from May Automotive - most shops won't mount 10 year old tires, but some shops are ok with it. I've seen some used Comp 2 in the 255/50/16 pop up on Facebook Marketplace. I replaced the Comp 2 with Comp 2 A/S Plus in 245/50/16. The new tires seem to be as good a tire as the Comp 2 Summer tires were. Good luck.
