greetings
my car has 127,000 miles
recently I see oil on the passenger side valve cover coming from the oil cap & crankcase vent tube ?
awhile back I replace the oil cap but the new one still lets oil out as did the old.
these caps when tightened just go so far and then click, don't seem to close all the way ?
and why would oil be leaking out of the crankcase vent tube?
anything serious here ?

One of the things that can cause your oil cap to leak is a bad PCV valve. The other would be excessive blow by in your rings, but then you'd have an obviously tired engine. PCV is the most likely issue.
