Interior Mildew - How to Remove & Prevent?

My 95 C4 is currently not being used, & is garaged, but it is not in a climate controlled garage.
I am getting surface mildew in the interior - on the seats, steering wheel, gear shift & so on.
Is there anything that is good at:
(a) Removing the mildew?
(b) Preventing it from coming back?

probably best to clean with a strong vinegar solution, letting it soak about 10 minutes, then recondition the leather that's been hit with vinegar

I'd leave dessicant bags in the car, or sprinkle baking soda into the carpets, or just leave a few boxes open in the car for storage.

If there is electricity in the garage, use a dehumidifier. Ideally, with the condensate draining via a hose to somewhere in daylight (outside of the structure), so that it won't be necessary to empty the bucket.

I would dry DampRid to remove dampness in the car!
Most stores sell them, Walmart, Home Depot and Lowes to name a few.
