I will certainly always have to learn. Just as the confidence starts to rise I do something stupid. I am at the point now that I have to learn something to continue learning something else ..... eg: I had to learn PC based oscilloscopes to understand and troubleshoot my inept (spelled cheap) attempt at getting data. Oh yea "cheap", that was third lesson in data. Parts hunting is always a lesson as well. My favorite lesson was, ordering parts is a good excuse not to start the repair you need to do. 2nd favorite lesson was, starting a project I have never done before leads to ordering parts ...... 3rd favorite, parts sitting in a box will not fix my car. My push rods came in yesterday, I am going back into my intake manifold (for the second time) to install springs, pushrods and Morrel rollers.

It would be a mistake not to acknowledge all the help from the People in this Forum.

The learning started with my first Corvette in 1967. I'm still learning (and still making mistakes) but it's still fun. There are many on these forums who have forgotten more than I'll ever know. Even the gurus who are pros or who have been through it dozens of times will sometimes be stumped, and will also occasionally do something stupid. Take time, once in a while, to look BACK at how much you have done, learned and how much more you can do now than before. After all, unless you run a Corvette repair shop for a living, we're all doing this stuff for fun.

I can sure relate to this one:
