I must share - A good friend who is a realtor and licensed handy-man messaged me on Saturday morning with some pics of a C4 amber glass targa top asking if I wanted it for $300. He was helping his last client move stuff out of a barn. I asked him what year and the owner said it was his ex-wife's late 80's C4 and it's been sitting around for 20+ years in it's original protective pouch. So I researched and found that I could swap out the windshield brackets and modify the trim by drilling new holes to accept the top (I'm sure most of you know that already). I messaged my friend back and offered $250; the owner accepted. There is absolutely no bubbling nor cracks or scratches on this top other than some lifting of the "tint" on the inside front side corners which I'm sure can be remedied by some spray paint. I then messaged a forum member here who I've purchased a few parts from already asking if he just happened to have these brackets, and he did. Payment complete and just sitting back waiting for the parts like a giddy virgin lad on a first date - LOL! So I want to give props to forum member @SEEYAA a very reputable seller as well as my friend Mark for the great score!
