Courtesy light module delete possibility?
I’ve been tracking down a problem with my courtesy lights staying on. I replaced the switches on the doors. Check the fuse. And went to the timer module. I found that the harness (picture attached) was melted on one side but the contacts don’t seem to be damaged. I replaced a module but still the lights stay on. Is there a way to bypass that module completely? Can I delete it by just splicing the wires together or will that cause other issues? This is on an 84 Corvette
