Default 1993 C4 Convertible

I changed my oil and filter for the first time tonight and after taking the jack stands down, I noticed a hole on the driver's side floor board. If you store your car outside, is it typical for rodents and other animals to want to gnaw on different parts of the car. Should I use epoxy the seal the holes up? Thanks!

Possibly someone put a floor jack under the car and did not know where the jacking points are.

To repair you should sand a inch or so out from the damage. Probably use a little 1" air sander. Clean it really good with acetone. Get a fiberglass repair kit with cloth. Cut a little square of cloth to match area. Apply resin, then cloth, then more resin. Sand smooth if desired. Spray with undercoating.

That is definitely a possibility, it is pretty hard to miss the seam though
