Just about the same scenario near me on Marketplace. 60k miles, hood damage/paint issues. Hasn’t been started since he got it from his father 6 years ago. Too bad they’re just going to sit and get even worse when they could have been saved…
For the casual reader who doesn't understand the OP, the 1984-89 had the digital dash, which included an old fashioned rolling analog odometer. No battery needed.
Frankly I'd pay $800 more for an LT1 or even an L98 car all day long and twice on Sunday if condition and mileage was about equal.
