Default Back in the C4 for a Third Time

I recently purchased this 1996 Collector Edition Coupe after owning and parting with a 1996 Coupe and a 1987 Convertible. Just could not pass this one up locally for a very fair price. There is something about the visceral driving experience of this generation that I cannot shake even though I own a 2009 model. Being retired, I now happily own my personal two favorite generations. It feels great to be back in a C4 again!

Thanks. Has only 44K miles. Senior owned and garaged. Purchased locally for a fair price. Just needs a little TLC.

Starting issue existed since it was not driven much past few years. Replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, cleaned MAF and throttle body. Using fuel injector cleaner. Runs great now.

Flushed old brake fluid and antifreeze. Better braking and cooling resulted. Had to remove 20 year old window tint. (Major PIA) A few small interior issues need addressed and it will display a near perfect patina for its 26 year age.

Had a 95 for 17 years. Sold and bought 2016. Drove two years, missed my C-4. Just sold my 2016 and bought a 96 with 28,000 miles. Love it !!! Great to be back in a C-4, nothing like them.
Enjoy your new ride

Probably too late since you got the tint off, but a friend of mine showed me a super easy way. Take one of those clothes steamers. Takes only a few seconds of passing the steam over it and it peels right off. Really clean and easy. The steam even makes it so you can wipe the glue residue off really easy too.

I appreciate the suggestion on removing the window tint. I did use a steamer to remove it as you suggested.
