I know this is controversial but....after reading alot of archived posts concerning beam plates, guys putting down more than 300 rwhp swear by them for keeping the car straight under acceleration. Just some food for thought...and if $180 helps the problem I'd bet it be worth a try.
Disclaimer - I do not sell these things, know anyone who does, nor have them (yet) on my car or know anyone who does, nor do I claim to be an engineer, metallurgist, or mad scientist of any type and have never studied any of these fields; I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night, and I really don't care if you disagree with my post. Just throwing out ideas. :)

this is a common problem believe it or not... I would say a definite mod is in order though! Try getting a POS car, rip the front pin out and install it a little farther behind the 1st pin of the car... or you could put rails up on your side of the track! :yesnod: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I like the idea of two pins. That'll keep the contacts on the rails. As soon as the car gets sideways enough, it loses contact and stops the motor, that what really spins if off the track. I got one of those for Christmas way back when. We were racing on Christmas morning, and the power went out, and my car flew off the track, and hit the window and broke! :sad:

Bigger magnets, tire goo, the extra pin, clean and cut your armature, and steal the outside lane. Glue a little matchstick or clear plastic to the front inside fender......take him out in turn 1!!!
