Default Bad inner tie rods?

On my 96, the front wheels has very slight movement from grabbing the tire and moving it left to right and I can see the inner tie rod slightly moving. From underneath the car i can't move the tie rod. I'm assuming the inner tie rod is bad? I don't hear any odd noises when driving.

Usually a good idea to replace inner and out. Same time. Same age. Not far behind
It's easier to gauge movement. lifting the side you are inspecting. Using your wheel to push/ pull with quick tugs. Count, measure or mark threads. To get close to the original distance.

Off topic.
Due you have the T type, GN, or GNX
We need to thank Buick rebelling the 80's reverse engineering to restrict power.
GM rarely let's anything beat the vette.
T type, Cyclone, Typhoon, TTA

Yes.. understood. Thank you. Spell correct changed it. At save. It was proper. C'est -la- vie
I will leave it.

My sis had one. The front shaft U-joint was bad took out the yoke. NO shafts anywhere. I removed. so she could still drive. Now rear wheel only. What an animal. Sideways hitting 2nd.

The Bravada front driveshaft bolts right in, is much easier to find, and stronger once its there. Requires just a tad of grinding on the shifter cable bracket for clearance. Both of my current SyTy have Bravada front shafts.

Without the front shaft installed, if the viscous clutch in the T-case lets go, it will loose all drive.

And another phenomenon is that if parked on a hill in PARK without the park brake set, it will move slowly on its own because the V-clutch slips. Years ago I had a front shaft failure en-route to my brother's house 2,500 miles away, I removed it to complete the trip. The morning after I arrived my brother went out to get the paper, came back and said "Your truck is half-way into the street.." I knew what had happened....
Ohhh. Sure. Perfect timing. You did not reach out to me. mid 98.
I would have ground down the shaft for clearance.
That's scary. Your lucky it did not hit a car or worse.

Yes, I had a GN back in early 2000. What's a good brand of tie rods to get?

Genuine Moog is still good.
Looks like they reduced to a "Limited" life time.
Inner EV260
Outer ES2908RL

Be careful some online stores claim moog. Yet substitute with others. Good ole fashion bait & switch.
Ps.
also a PIA if wrong parts are ordered.
warranty replacements/ core process can wreck multi weeks. At least a few. cover shipping.
