.020Ma isn't much. About .500MaHr per day. 15 Ahr per month. Add it to the regular incipient draw in a C4 and .020 Ma can make a difference after a month in a car that isn't driven much. Here's a source of a draw I don't think I've seen mentioned on here.
I was messing around with my recently purchased 92 today. I opened the ABS compartment and found some non-OEM looking wires. I saw in the records from the OO that the car had been equipped with this in 1996, and knew I'd find it eventually. I took it out, and just for grins powered it up on my bench. .020 Ma.
LoJack. This one was wired to the B+ for the ABS/TCS, so it was powered at all times. Note that the back-up battery is .8 AHr. So if the main battery were cut or removed, the back-up is good for about a day and a half. I remember back in the hey days of LoJack that thieves would leve a car dormant for a couple of days after jacking it to be sure it didn't have a tracker. The antenna is the foam thing, it was under the rear carpet so it had a view of the sky. The whole deal is now in the traqsh.
Hmm. I wonder if I have something similar happening. My 92 has a bunch of aftermarket alarm stuff installed that the PO had put in. It all seems rather well put together but I constantly find stuff that I didn't know I have. Like remote start out of nowhere..
