Sound system
My front amplifiers are completely corroded and I want to put in a bluetooth amplifier
and replace all the speakers. But can't find any that I know will work.

My solution was a late 90s Chevrolet radio (S-10, Venture van, etc) so I get the similar appearance and it fits the 1.5 DIN perfectly. Notice that the radio is screwed into the car with correct screws as designed, which was achieved by 3D printing a pair of brackets using ABS for durability. I designed it so the radio is attached to the car in the stock location without modification to the car, using stock screws and mount locations. My goal was to leave the car intact completely so the next owner (MANY years from now, hopefully) could simply plug the BOSE system back in. I created a wiring harness that plugs the new radio into the car, along with new speaker wires. You'll notice the little "button" fits into the new radio mounting hole and there are holes that allow you to screw in the rear screw from the front; that is the reason for the half-moon hole in the upper/right corner.

3D printed brackets and small notch to plastic in the rear
The speakers in the rear were replaced with traditional 6x9s and the empty front dash were filled with whatever size fits there, what 6.5" ones? New Crutchfield speaker wire pulled through the car (HIGHLY recommend their wire!!) and this is what I have completed:

One more thing, before installation I managed to find LED bulbs on eBay that match the colors of my other bulbs in the stack, so my A/C controller, radio, and top panel with switches all have LED bulbs now, which looks GREAT at night.
LED lights everywhere, including dash cluster, a/c controller, radio and switch panel.
Stack at night with automatic glowing with 2 LED bulbs instead of one from factory.
My solution keeps the car convertible back to factory Bose if someone should want to with no modifications to the car body, I gained LED bulbs everywhere, modernish CD radio that is PLENTY loud with quality aftermarket speakers (Just as loud as my Bose ever was), and for Bluetooth I assembled a Bluetooth module with FM modulator that plugs into the antenna jack so, stuffed into the dash; tune to certain frequency and sync your Bluetooth, works great. Look on eBay for these Bluetooth modules costing something like $14 or so, very nifty little devices.
I like that the car looks essentially "factory" and most people wouldn't even notice it was aftermarket. Next time the radio comes out I'm tearing it apart to make the SCV (speed controlled volume) switch turn on/off or up/down the rear antenna, allowing me to have the antenna down playing Bluetooth or CDs. I am MORE than impressed with the volume of this stock unit, again, with quality speakers installed..
For another day in the coming months I am eager to announce to the C4 world this new part I just created during the radio upgrade project:
Cool new toy for all C4s coming soon.
