Default Silly problem with 84 headlight replacement

Hi Guys, I looked in other threads but couldn't seem to find the answer I need. Every video I have seen shows a **** on the top of the headlight motor that you can manually turn to rotate the headlight to give you access to the hardware so you can get the old light out. My motors don't have this manual ****. I have tried turning the lights on and shutting the key off to get them to stop halfway but that doesn't work either. I feel stupid having to ask this question...but how the heck do I get this done?!

Just suggestions, why don't you disconnected the power source by unplugging motor from operating, once you pull switch.

This what motor look like, does your's look like this with ****. picture would look good, when asking.

you get them to stop halfway by pulling the headlight switch and immediatly pushing back in. It will probaby take several tries untill you get it to stop in right location

I was able to figure it out by having my daughter pulling the headlight **** right as I disconnected the negative terminal. That worked fine. Thanks guys!

And by the way, your ‘84 motors have the **** on the bottom. The **** is smaller than the motors circled in red on the later ones in the first picture.
