Hey, have started to did into this new purchase and found some issue for sure. But how do I release this wire from the clip? I'd guess GM has special tools.
I found the shielding has been some little bas------- lunch. I need to solder in a section but need more room to work.
the thin purple one is damaged but I don't know what it powers little prics
You need to unplug connector. Tool or a paper clip hammered and filled to the correct size. The slot near terminal should have retaining tab. Depressing tab varies by terminal. Sometimes terminal will need to go forward to fully depress tab.
Just ordered a 72 piece tool. The way GM likes to keep it messy, I assume pigtails will be released with different clips, so who knows the style [needed]. I think I can research the Red Books to find the style adding hours to the project.
And, I have 95 books from Dan. I hope this 93 is very similar.
'93 could be very different behind the IP from the '95 Red Books you mention having. Having the correct FSM and identifying the connector you've issues with could help you much. The 8A-201 & 8A-202 section of the correct FSM could help tremendously. The 72 piece affair you've purchased could be over kill.
