Default Bowling Green

Heading to Louisville over Thanksgiving to imbibe in the Bourbon culture. While there, I figured I'd run down to Bowling Green. What advice can you give a first timer?

Taking my boys there next week, on the way to NC.

The Sledgehammer and other Calloway C4s are on display right now, so I'm going to take them to see what could be a once in a lifetime chance to see 10 Calloway cars in a single place. It's not every day you can put your eyes on a C4 that went over 250MPH.

Been there many times, lot to see and take in, don't rush, and the area has plenty restaurants to eat!

Take pictures and enjoy yourself, has they say take in flavor of colors of Corvettes.

I did not know that! Hope they're still there when I arrive. I remember that magazine cover when I was younger. I think it was Motor Trend.

I read an article or saw an email about it last week, so the display just started. You should be all good!

Be sure to see the ONLY 1983 corvette. It escaped the ordered destruction of test models of the 1983 vettes by GM and is on display at the museum.

Take a ride on the track too. Are they giving plant tours again? That's something I haven't done that I'd like to. They stopped during COVID and then the tornado happened.

The assembly plant is now reopened for tours. You have to arrange the plant tour through the Museum. While in Louisville visit the Louisville Slugger factory and stop by Churchill Downs and bet on the horses. FYI Jim Beam is Closed to tourist on Mondays and Tuesdays

There are, indeed, plenty of places to eat. One of my favorites is in the NCM itself. They have some unusual fare that keeps customers coming back.
