I think I will need help. My car no more have it's RPO decal. My interior is what I thought was gray. I now have doubt. The door carpet is in need of replacing on the driver side and the owner ordered new carpet he gave me but they are way too light. My doors are quite dark and it makes me think it might be graphite. The seats are a bit lighter than the doors. Here are some pics and give me your opinions.
I would advise that you run your vin through CompNine.com and for $5 you will get a readout giving all of the options the car came with and which interior package it came with. You could take your vin to your local Chevy dealer and they can give you a readout that will give you even more info for free if they are so inclined to help you out. That way you will be able to keep it stock as I believe you want to do.
I tried CompNine after you told me but they say my vin is not registered in their database 😯 and it's a US car not canadian. Maybe I did something wrong.
What year is the car? There's only a few interior options available with most exterior colors. It should be pretty straight forward. If you're actually concerned you could by the NCM build-sheet/window sticker package. CompNine is generally a 90+ VIN for content and 'rarity'. There are exceptions but I believe the exceptions are for VIN that were supplied by owners.
Do you have a local GM dealership? They can look up the vin and give you basically a build sheet if they are in the right mood. I say that as I believe they all have that capability but some don't want to take the time to do it. The other option is to contact the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Ky. and they will send you a copy of the window sticker and a build sheet for a fee. I think it is around $80 US.

Unless the car is a '90 or NEWER THEY CAN NOT!!! MOOD has nothing to do with it!!!!
OP - Your car is an '87 so here's what would have been generally available interior options for 1987. An exception to these would have an RPO for a variance.
