Default Cold stumbling problem

Hey, Forum Members!!!! I'm new to the forum and I'm also proud to say I have just purchased my first Vette, a 1994 LT1 Coupe. So far I love driving it and look foward to many more years of Corvette ownership. I have a problem I need some advice on though, when the car is cold Below 192deg. it will not take the gas without stumbling and back firing. After temp reaches 192 it runs fine any way I want to drive. Anyone have any suggestions?

Question, does the temp. display on the digi. gauges match the other gauge?

A scan tool will tell you if the coolant temp sensor to the ECM is functioning properly.

I have compared the two gauges and both seem to be giving the same readings. To me it sounds just like a cracked dist. cap, except it idles ok and like I said when the temp goes up it runs fine. I don't remember a cracked cap doing this before(if it's bad it's bad right?) Thanks for the help.

Any suggestions on a scan tool for the DIYer?
