save it for that ##@!!##@# day when something breaks, and then you can be like. SWEETTT free fix. and maybe even pay somebody to fix it really quick (instead of talking weeks to do it yourself. :)

Re: What would you do with 6000 dollars!! (lgetz1)
Consider this: Stick that money into a mutual fund until you are ready to retire. Then you can buy a new corvette and enjoy your retirement in style! :steering:
Screw saving it man... spend it now! You can't have any fun with money in the bank. I always justify my purchases by assuming I'll be better off financially later, when a few grand won't be so hard to come by.
Also, you should be able to get your tires and get them mounted for under $600 if you buy Kumho's or Sumitomo's.
Yeah, so maybe that state of mind will never get me rich, but I'll still have fun. I don't think it's possible to enjoy your toys as much as an old fart anyways. I'd probably complain about my aching back and buy an RV instead.

Re: What would you do with 6000 dollars!! (Marty McFly)
considering that you are a young man, with an entire future ahead of you that includes, a household, a wife and kids, and a ton of other bills, I would consider putting that money into the bank for future use.
believe me, the day will come when you wish you had that money.
I sure wish that I would have followed that same advice when I was your age....(30+ years ago)
