90 air bag sensor help
I have the infl rest light problem and have pulled drivers side apart and found a TAR like substance under & around the sensor !! Wondering if this is from factory or might the sensor overheated and ooozed out this stuff ??? Sensor looks OK and car is all original..................Any thoughts or advice is appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure what that stuff is, but it's not normal. I would clean it up and reattach the sensor and see what happens. If the sensor needs to be replaced, Dino's Corvette Salvage has them.
