I have a 96 base c4 corvette, I’m not the original owner, have found some things that are modded, all done tastefully, though some of it a little cutting corners. However I’m trying to tare apart a few things for a nice little mod of my own and I found this weird thing in my trunk. It’s an empty rectangular bracket beneath all the carpet. The carpet is even molded to have an indent for concealing it better. I have no clue what it’s meant to be but clearly it gets plugged in somehow. Just tryna figure out if it’s important, probably not gonna touch it otherwise. Where it’s located. Middle figure is pointing at a connector, pointer is at some sort of leads, maybe for grounding? I have no clue, this car has some, minor, interior electrical issues.
