Purchased one from a forum member, and got it installed Sunday. Wow, what a difference, and that's without harnesses  I feel it has really taken quite a bit of vibration out of my car, it definately cured squeaks and squiggles, and the car feels tighter over bumps and potholes. Gets a big  from this owner!
Can't wait to get a camber brace and the other R-D racing goodies. I would have liked to purchase the harness bar from them, but my funds are limited.
http://www.hardbar.net/harness_bar.htm This is the bar that I purchased. They are expensive, but you have to take into account the forces that would be applied to this piece in a crash. I bought it for the stiffening aspects, I have no intentions of putting a harness in my car(yet).
Can you retain use of stock seatbelts with the hardbar or do you have to switch to some kind of harness?
You can use the standard belts with the hardbar. For me, the new belt position is a little more comfortable than the original stock position. The advantage of the R-D racing bar appears to be retention of stock belt mounting locations. I could be wrong, as I've never owned or even seen the R-D racing harness bar in person, but it doesn't look like it would lend itself to the stiffening I experienced.
