Can somebody tell me what photos like this are intended to illustrate? Not necessarily this particular photo, but often I see car ads that show the car photographed with the doors, hatch, and hood open like this. At least you can see some of the engine here but most of these “all open” photos just look silly. It reminds me of the old Hot Wheels cars with the photos of ‘real working doors’ LOL.

Makes it harder to see how well the body panels line up.
I think photos like that are the seller's approach at an artistic angle. They like the look of the car with the doors open and the hood up and think it make the car more attractive. That's my take on it. It's a good looking car either way.
