I put one on my 87 it looks good. Makes it kinda tight getting stuff under it with the top up but does help with the wind from turbulence going down the road.
I would have purchased one last year if I would have known. The radio sounds better and it just makes a more comfortable ride all together! You can actually hear the person riding next you.
it is mostly permanent,
strong sticky adhesive tape
it does not need to be moved to put the top up/down
i like it,
it does make a quieter more comfortable cabin
however,
with the top up (rarely happens for me)
you are now looking thru a double sheet of glass,
kinda difficult to see behind you.

Thanks. Living in North Jersey, I'll be driving it year round so the top will be up a lot.
I have one on my 95 and it is great. Mine from the windrestrictor group in Dallas attaches with the two T50 bolts that mount the top of the seat belts, with no tape involved . Easy on and off. Since mine is a 95 with the glass window on the convertible top I experience zero issues looking through it. The only time it is taken off is when I put the hardtop on.

Not what I would call a handyman around cars. Is it an installation a non handyman could do?
Installation is very easy. Pry up the plastic covers covering the bolts near your shoulder where the tops of the seatbelt is mounted and unscrew the bolts. Then the windscreen slips under the bolt and seatbelt mount and retighten. Helps just to have someone supporting the other side of the windscreen while you work on the other side.

I have one on my 2013 427 vert. Works well to keep the cabin wind noise and flow down. You can carry on a conversation and hear the Radio much easier. I have just the clear plain model no lights or logos. No problem with rear vision. Installation was easy and it does not have to be removed to put the top up, unlike the one that is factory stock. Well worth the install
