Does the shorter side jerk back and forth while coming up? You may need new gear pellets in your motors.
I'm not sure if there is an adjustment for how far the headlights spin, but I would imagine that is supposed to stay constant and the headlight itself is adjustable.
There are plenty of great videos for replacing pellets (I think I used Christie's video and ignored the parts specific to the gears). You do not need to do the gears, I used just the pellets from Keen Corvette Parts around a year or so ago and have had zero issues, with factory gears and motors.
Are you able to post a video of what the headlight does when you turn the switch? Maybe there is a mechanical problem with the bracket/motor assembly.
