I buddy is looking at this car and asked my opinion on price. Another guy is looking to trade him a truck for it and I know nothing about their discussions of money. The details are
1991 zf6, procharged, 23k original miles, 2 owners, green on tan with transparent roof only. Car makes 380hp and 490 torque. I assume those are crank numbers but I’m not sure. That’s basically all I know, but let’s assume there are no issues with the car. I told him I would expect to pay $20-$22k, all things considered but I’m not that versed in C4s so I thought I’d come to you guys for your opinions. So let’s hear your opinions. Thanks in advance. The car is in excellent, near new condition. I will upload pics soon.
I would say you are in the ballpark if it is in premium condition with plenty of documentation as to what mods and services have been done over the years. Without good documentation I would say mid to upper teens.
There's an 89 procharged C4 that has been for sale for several months. I've seen it on CL and this forum. Asking price is 19,999. I would guess it's worth somewhere in the mid to high teens. Seems people are reluctant to buy a supercharged car used as it screens it was driven hard. I often see disclaimers on these cars, never raced or driven fast. Ha! https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...arger-zz4.html
I would say around $20k, and I don't think you could buy '91 manual in this condition and with this low mileage and put a charger on it for that price. So, the question is, do you really wanted a prime condition charged C4? If so, I think you pay maybe a little more for this good specimen, I'd have it checked out mechanically of course.
