I am in the process of a body off restomod project of my 73 big block Corvette.
I’ve been searching for the perfect shade of green for the new color.
I’m looking for a paint without a lot of metallic and metal flake.
Some is ok, but some look like they belong on a bass boat.
I just came across a photograph of a 93 C4 in the original Polo Green color and would like to see more pictures of the color in different lighting.
If you have pictures of your C4’s in Polo Green, can you post them?
Thanks, Greg

Reason: Typo
There are some metallic flakes in the C4 polo green, though they are not bad, but it was listed by GM as "Polo Green Metallic".
I’ve looked at numerous pictures of Fathom Green and I see a lot of blue in the color.
Same with Brands Hatch Green.
Both are beautiful colors but not the shade I’m looking for.
I haven’t seen either in person just in pictures.
I don’t mind a little metallic in the paint, I just want the minimum.

It's is fairly minimum, you don't even notice it unless in direct sunlight and by no means not close to what you see on bass boats.
I have a polo green 96 and really like the color...I don't recall the last time I saw another polo green C4...best with the saddle interior.
Have you checked out lime rock green. A friend had a 2014 vert in that color with the Kalahari top and interior. One of the sharpest cars ever in my opinion, although I have always been a huge fan of polo green. Just picked up a 96 vert with beige iop and interior. Beautiful color

the gm color is polo green metallic. if it isnt dull and or lost its luster it actually has a lot of metal flake in it. at least the oem paint on my 91 does. maybe the paint formula changed from year to year though?
Hi Ignatz,
That is a nice color.
I like it, but it might be a little too different.
Even for me.
But, the more I look at it the more I can see it on my 73.

This is a beautiful color,
Its really close to the Polo Green, and it looks like it has less metallic, which I would prefer.

On any color I choose, I’ll have the painter spray a test panel and discuss the amount of metallic in the paint.
I’m really trying to find cars painted the color so I can see them in person before I choose.
Thanks!
