Looks like the Tach wire without the clip. Factory had a tach filter that attached and is tucked behind the distributor. If you have the a Tach wire, id say thats the abandoned tach filter.

Thank you so much. I am so done with this car. I have replaced: gas, fuel pump, fuel filter, cap, rotor, distributor, ignition coil, plug wires, fuel injectors, adjusted timing. I checked for vacuum leaks. The car runs WAY BETTER, but not properly.

I'm sooo lost on what the heck it could be.

ANY CLUE?

It just doesn't seem to have all of its power. I know it's only 240 Horsepower, but it won't even chirp the tires.

It should spin or chirp the tires easily. My top two guesses are 2.59 gears or ignition timing. Auto transmission?

It is an auto, yes. I did check and adjust the timing at the distributor. The engine sounds healthy... maybe it's just tired?
