I just had my new-to-me '96 Coupe up on jackstands without any issues. Pick up these rubber jack pads (

) turn them upside down so the slot is to the floor jack pad and you can lift the car from the indicated jacking positions on the car. No damage to the fiberglass. Once elevated, there are a a few places where the uniframe come together with pinch welds (they well identified on the web) and place your jack stands there.

The Uniframe is torsional stiff so when you from the front jack points, the entire side of the car elevates. Do one side and then the other. I've done it multiple times this past few weeks without any issues.

Do not use any part of the convertible X bar underneath. Both my previous 89 vert and current 92 have had the PO use it and bend it.

The X brace rear attachments are right in the jack stand placement area. A little challenging there. Might need to be creative, but safe.
