1994 convertible
i have just recently purchased a 1994 convertible corvette for my first “nice car”. i got a really good deal but i knew it had a few minor issues , the main one that bothers me day to say is the radio. i was informed by the previous owner that the car had water spilled in the rear storage area and it had corroded the “cdm”. i’m no car stero expert, but i had a feeling i could figure this one out. , i opened the panel and found the cdm loose in its side ; i figured that is why the radio cuts in and out when hitting bumps or sharp curves. i have tried my best to secure the cdm and tighten all connections. it seems it has had a different stero in the past one of the harnesses has all grey wires and 3 of them have been snipped (could this be the reason for cassette player not showing power and cd player skipping and not wanting to change tracks) please let me know if you have any input THANSK
