I'm tired of not being able to see at night when the car runs. It seems like I have to follow the line instead of seeing the road.
Bought ebay link these as advertised for a corvette and they dont fit. The heat sink is way to big for the metal trim ring to go around.
What led fit without any modification?
I got these and they work great.
Auxbeam 5x7 7x6 Inch Led Headlights with High Low Beam H6054 6054 Led Rectangular Headlight

I removed the old ones that have been on the car since I got it in '02, and opened the box and installed them in the buckets and plugged them right in. I didn't even need to adjust the throw. The housing fit so exactly I used the same adjustment as the old ones without needing to touch them.
During what I assumed would be a beam adjust that night against the garage doors, we had it side by side with my bff's fancy new BMW and you couldn't tell my beams were from a car 39 years older. He was as shocked as I was that they were as good of a cutoff, color and brightness as his 110k$ German CF frame car

If I was buying new headlights, I would buy the morimoto ones. Some of the Amazon ones are good, some a.kinda ****. The morimoto strike a good balance between price and performance IMO.
I bought some and they showed up today. I'm in the middle of gutting cats so it will be maybe next week before I get around to putting them in. Got them on sale for like $72.
