Looking for what you consider the best headlight replacement? Picked up an '88 Anniversary recently, man are the stock headlight dim, need to get something that lights up the road better. Thanks all.
I bought JW Speakers about 4 years ago. Needed one of the inline ballast things to make the driving lights work. Kind of expensive at the time. I love them. Dan
Colter, Bought them on line about two years ago. Not sure they are still available but I found these on Amazon PEAK H6054 Sealed Beam 6000K LED Headlight https://a.co/d/fR3ZFsb. They look to be very similar.

In my opinion, the best headlight replacement for the C4 is a pair of Hella H4 lenses and Philips 100/80W H4 bulbs.
They are far less expensive than an LED setup, they are a direct replacement for the stock units...just plug them in and drive away... and the stock wiring and switches will handle the increased amperage draw.
They also put out copious amount of the correct color light; much better than the LED's in my opinion. I.e. they work well.
I've also tried the once-popular HIR bulbs (in my Jeep) and could see no improvement over the stock bulbs.
Been running mine for 2 years, love em.
I work 12 hour shifts, 2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nights. So 6 months of the year it's dark going to and from work. Not as worried about wildlife or joggers with these lights

Do you happen to have a part number for the Hella housings? I asked about them and nothing.
