So about a month ago my 1984 c4 corvette got knocked in reverse with no one behind the wheel and backed into a wall and I haven't been able to get it started since. It cranks but won't start. There was a little Crack in the gas tank which I patched with jb weld. I checked the fuel pump and it works. Changed the fuel relay, new battery. But I don't think I'm getting power to the pump checked all the wires don't see any breaks in them. But I just noticed not getting any lights either. Also when the accident happened the driver side door was open and hit a pole and got bent back. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction of where I should be looking
Sorry for your accident and you have a lot going on here. A "crack in the gas tank" is a pretty good hit.
Did you check your fuel pressure at the TB? If your pumps are spinning you should be able to get pressure at the TB. How about fuses
The "Bent back door" has me concerned as there is a lot of (seemingly) unrelated electrical that could have shorted and cause something crazy to happen. Also, the smack in the rear that causes the gas tank to rupture is also a big issue. There is a lot of electrical in the rear that could cause shorts else where.
I cut the wires here and hooked up directly to battery with alligator clamps and it ran fine. But then when hooked up with butt connecter to the car nothing. Damage from accident Damage from accident
