1990 wiper blade
hello, when after market wiper blade returns home on driver's side it hits the hood in stead of going under it.
sometimes knocks the blade off. i just ordered one from ECKLERS and they said it should be same as original.
itried to adjust arm so it would'nt go down so close to bottom of windshield but ran out of adjustment.
anyone run into this issue ?

I had a similar problem I never could solve. Even went with lower profile blades. But what solved the problem for me was to slightly bend the wiper arm. i.e. hold the middle of the wiper arm, and push the end of the wiper arm down while holding the middle. After doing that, that arm put more pressure on the windshield and caused the wiper blade to sit lower and then go under the hood with no problem.
