Hey guys I have a 1989 C4 Corvette just wouldn’t start or crank one day I ordered the vats bypass installed it still nothing any ideas yes I checked the key and yes I ordered the right bypass module

After many, many tries at fixing the VATS problem, I found This (for a #7 .523 ohm system) which was a very simple and inexpensive unplug and plug in bypass which ACTUALLY Solved the problem!!!
I had a door sensor keep me from starting, then a fuel pump keep it from firing. Bought resistor and bypass (30/50 hz tone generator) but have not installed yet.
My 88 stopped cranking/starting. It has the Vats turned off. I jacked up the front of the car and tapped on the starter solenoid and it started. I bought a new Acdelco starter and it fixed it.
