Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm looking at 1995 convertible and am wondering if anyone makes a luggage rack that would allow a golf bag be tied down on it. From the pictures I've seen, they all look like ornamentation and not very functional. TIA
Thanks guys. My concern is, from the looks of those, what would stop the wind from blowing the bag over the single bar at the back of the rack and allowing the bag to hit the back of the car by the lights.
That's why you would use bungies to hold it down, laying the bag cross ways on the rack. Just make sure you have a bag with a good snap on cover to keep the clubs inside.
I think there's one more thing that should be noted: availability. After I bought my 86 I looked for one - suckers are not to be found anywhere. Factory quit them years ago and no aftermarket company sells them from what I can find. Good luck finding one, I didn't.

I'd like to get one for my 94 vert too. There was ONE on eBay a few days ago. Seller wanted $1,000 for it! Might be a market here if the price was reasonable
I hear complaints from many that have cars equipped with the factory units. Consider placing a wanted to buy ad in the C4 parts section. Plugging the holes keep most from removing them. If you run into someone preparing to repaint their vert, you might find a seller. Good luck.
