Manual driver seat

I've seen posts about this before but can't find them. We all know the power seat mechanisms are not the most robust units. Is it just as simple as throwing in some manual passenger seat tracks from the passenger side?

Buy manual seat tracks. Junk yard, part out, Ebay....

When I got my new to me 84 the power seat was not working. I’m 6’5”, noticed that the manual passenger seat rode lower so I just swapped the tracks. Viola’ I don’t sit to high and my wife can see better too.

So after taking out the power seat tracks how does one get rid of the switch on the console? I've not seen any switch delete options anywhere.

You think it was hard to find a manual seat track good luck chasing down the cubby that replaced that console piece.

Should be part number 10199504.
