Default Odd interior options

Hi, I haven't been around a while, but I have my '87 convertible up for sale and I keep getting asked the same questions for which I cannot provide an answer. Maybe some of you can help. I bought the car from a guy who changed the console cover, thereby eliminating my RPO code list. My interior has a wood grain dash and console, a wood steering wheel and cloth interior. I was wondering if this was some kind of special option package or an owner of the car did this. I know you can get a wood grain kit from Corvette depot, but was this offered from the factory? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Troy.

The wood grain is aftermarket.

The important things you should be able to sort and answer without the RPO/SPID label. Is the car a manual 4+3? If yes then the rear should be a 3.07 D44 unless it's been modified. If an A4/auto you can do a rotate of rear wheel vs pinion rotation to ID rear ratio, I believe this would definitely be potentially important. Is there an AUX FAN forward of the radiator/condenser module? If that's there then there's more to confirm but it should certainly be possible to ID even if RPO/SPID is missing. Shouldn't take that long either.

It's an auto, but all I wanted to know if the wood grain, wood wheel, chrome wheels, and cloth interior were some kind of odd option. I've never seen these options before and have been asked several times about it.

If you're looking to sell then I'd think the things/checks I mentioned would be certainly inclined to be worth (possibly) many $$$ more than just mentioning 'there it is'! An automatic with a 3.07 would be a great driver!
