Hello. I often hear Corvette owners of all generations talking about how X number of Vettes were built with a specific color/interior/transmission combo. What is the most reliable source for numbers with that level of specificity for C4s? Thanks in advance for your help.
I have been trying to find this exact information on my 86 but without much luck. I know 4300 coupes were white but can not find out how many white coupes came with saddle leather
If you're interested in 1995 which I believe is your recent buy then CompNine could get you all the information that might interest you. I believe to get 'rarity' function to operate you likely need a subscription that might cost 15$ for 30 days. Maybe less $$$ if you email and request info. CompNine is very accurate for any GM 1990 or newer. A few hits for years earlier than '90 but I believe the information on those has maybe been manually entered.
If your VIN works using this link 'rarity' should be available for minimal $$$.
Amazing. Thank you all so much for the information. My car is a 1995 coupe in dark purple metallic with black interior and a manual. I’m curious how many of those were made. I will try and investigate using some of the resources you have supplied for me.
This conversation leads me to wonder who at an auto manufacturer determines which specs to build and in what proportion. Anyone have any insight into that?
