Default Where do I go??? Missing plug…

Hello gents, I took my 96 in to have the tranny rebuilt. Because it doesn’t shift past first. Once the tranny was dropped. We found these cut wires hanging there. Anyone have an idea where they go? Thanks

Ground wires to that bell housing bolt? Any evidence of broken lugs on the bolt or floor?

Not that I saw. They don’t seem freshly cut and stripped, but I think you're right about grounds

It appears as though they were attached to the bellhousing and were accidentally forcibly removed with the bellhousing. Check the bellhousing for any bolts that have ring terminals or a connector still in place.

Agreed ^^^^^ Looks like when the mechanic hit the trigger on the impact, instead of the nut breaking loose, it spun the whole stud and wrapped the wiring up until it tore the wires out of their ring terminals and broke the third ring terminal in half!!! Easy fix, but stock ring terminals are my preference👍

You are absolutely right! The mechanic later admitted to spooling the wires, while removing the bolt.
