I think they are giving you a load of BS cause they are wussies. They told me they couldn't do my 84 because their cutoff year on all vehicles is nothing older than 1985 🙄 Told me I should go find a place that works on antique vehicles....

They just know their limits. You actually should be happy they won't do it as they would probably screw it up royal. Talk to local Corvette clubs to find where they go. Might have to travel a little and pay a little more. Dan

I just replaced mine in my ‘89 - the place I used only went back to 1990 so I said “I need a windshield for a 1991”
Convertible and Targa all use the same windshield. Safe lite wanted $500 I found a place called City auto glass (nationwide?) they told me $400 but when I paid it was $350!!!!
